Larus Energy is primarily focused on PPL579 where modern high quality 3D seismic has revealed a yet to be tested Petroleum System with multiple plays and reservoir targets being charged from a late Cretaceous source system. A large number of drillable prospects have now been defined and the extension of the play fairway to the south has been captured in the new license, PPL695. The high quality geological and geophysical work carried out by the Larus Energy technical team has enabled the most prospective part of the Torres Sub-Basin to be captured within the existing licenses.
Larus Energy will continue to assess opportunities to acquire additional assets where they are considered to add to shareholder value.
